What's On Your Mind?

(Also please feel free to contact us directly.)

Can you work with our in-house staff?

Yes. We frequently collaborate with the client's internal team or design leader. This is a common situation with established brands. With start ups and emerging brands we often work directly with the founder(s). We are also able to provide direction to freelancers you may be working with. In addition, we can operate as your full-service design team handling all aspects of the process.

Yes. We have long standing relationships with manufacturers in Asia, Europe and the US. They can provide everything from sourcing raw materials to providing samples to shipping finished products. We can choose the vendor based on your needs. For example, we know which manufacturers have distinct specialties such as embroidery and embellishments or mastery of specialty fabrics such as pure silk. We know who to call and how to work with them for best results.

Can you handle production?

Not a problem if you allow us to evaluate the task and decide if the timeframe is doable. We work fast and know all the steps involved. And that includes the time it often takes clients to provide feedback, approve things and stay on mission themselves. Having held senior corporate positions we are intimately familiar with and sympathetic to the hoops that need to be jumped through.

What if we are on a tight timeframe?

It's based on your needs. We can work on individual projects or serve as your ongoing design team . . . your design department on wheels as we like to say. The number of deliverables can range from an individual piece to an entire collection. Let's say you're known for linen but want to create a denim line. Perfect. We have more expertise in denim than just about anyone out there. Or let's say you're known for casual wear but want to elevate into luxury offerings. We'll give you guidance on trends, discuss product ideas, explore fabrics and silhouettes. We can take you all the way to finished products or hand off to you for tech packs.

What is the typical scope of work?

How do you charge for your services?

Everything is based on time, scope and degree of difficulty. Most often it'll be a project budget even if the work occurs over a series of months. Sometimes a monthly retainer makes sense but it's really for the client's connivence, it breaks their spend into predictable chunks.

Keep in mind we are not freelancers and do not work by the hour. Let's identify what's needed and agree on a budget. Changes to the scope can be discussed at any time. We're overachievers so don't worry about challenging us with more if that will help you succeed.
